Every time we go to the lake to visit family we pass by a cemetary where Francis Marion (the Swamp Fox) is buried. I always think of stopping but guess to anxious to get to the lake. Maybe I'll take your example.

A really great series Webs....I like reading the tombstones because you think about how they lived and their families after they were gone.

It's a private family plot not a battle field plot, so it was probably not far from the family home. You'd have to imagine this was a vast farm and nearby was a family homestead.
